Dr. Carolyn Mattingly, a distinguished professor of Biological Sciences and member of the Toxicology Graduate Program, was one of four faculty members honored with NC State’s top research and mentorship honor — the Outstanding Research Award. This award recognizes those who “lead in their areas of expertise, commit to mentoring their fellow NC State faculty and advance an intellectual, multidisciplinary research community.” Winning this award automatically inducts Dr. Mattingly into the NC State Research Leadership Academy.
