October kept us busy…

Dr. Brittany Rickard, Dr. Sue Fenton, and Dr. Alina Hamilton

NCSOT & US DOHaD back to back kept us on our toes and up to date on the latest developments in Toxicology.

A virtual high five to all of our students and post docs that participated and presented at either or both conferences.

Congratulations to Dr. Brittany Rickard, a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Sue Fenton’s lab. Brittany won the NC SOT President Award for Research Competition for her talk, “Photodynamic Priming Overcomes Chemoresistance and Mitochondrial Enhancements Arising from Chronic PFAS Exposure.”

Congratulation to Dr. Sue Fenton, Director of CHHE. Sue was awarded the US DOHaD Society Scientist Award, which recognizes a scientist who has performed exceptional DOHaD research in the United States.
