Krissy Borys completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. While at UMass, Krissy worked with Dr. Timme-Laragy researching PFOS & PFAS in zebrafish. Krissy is looking forward to hiking the many trails in NC, but not any venomous friends (copperheads) that she might encounter. She also is intrigued by the pottery classes offered by the Craft Center.
