How to Apply
Applications are invited from individuals holding baccalaureate or master’s degrees with strong backgrounds in the physical and life sciences. Completed applications must include all undergraduate and graduate transcripts, three letters of recommendation, GRE scores (Optional as of December 2021), and a statement describing the individual’s scientific interests and professional goals.
If you’re interested in our graduate program, we encourage you to let us know by giving us your name and contact information. You are welcome to arrange a visit with us to tour our facility and talk with students and faculty. For additional information, please contact the Director of Graduate Programs.
Requirements
The program requires a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0. Although the GRE is not required (Optional as of December 2021), applications are looked at on a holistic basis. We recognize GRE test scores are not the only indication of academic potential and we consider many factors in our application review process. International students whose primary language is not English must submit TOEFL scores.
Application Deadline is December 15
To be considered for traineeships, research assistantships and teaching assistantship please be sure your application is complete and submitted by December 15th.

Campus Visit
Applications will be reviewed after December 15, 2022 and selected individuals will be invited for a campus visit. This year, the visit will be in person February 16th-18th 2023.
Additional Information
We do not accept applications for Spring Semester Admission; our course sequence requires students to begin in the Fall Semester. Applications submitted after December 15 will only be considered based on assistantship availability.
