Bio
I am a PhD student in Dr. Hong Wang’s lab in the Physics department. Our lab studies interactions between proteins and nucleic acids, with particular emphasis on telomeres. We do so with standard molecular biology techniques, but our lab also specializes in single molecule imaging techniques, like atomic force microscopy. My project will focus on how these biomolecular interactions are maintained and disrupted by environmental stressors, such as UV radiation.
